Michal Pokorný

OCR training · Running · Conditioning · Strength training · Fitness racing

Michal is the creator of the entire concept and co-owner of Tvůj Gym. He is also a personal trainer specialising in OCR races and fitness racing. “From 2013 to 2022, I competed actively in OCR, mainly Spartan races, completing more than 50 races at a competitive level. I also founded the second-oldest Spartan Race Training Group in Kolín and the now-discontinued Spartantraining.cz project, which focused on preparing people for OCR races. Through that project I wrote a training e-book that sold more than 500 copies. Today I work as a personal trainer specialising in OCR and, more recently, fitness racing and hybrid fitness events, which I continue to pursue wholeheartedly. I also wrote the foreword to the official Czech edition of ‘Spartan Up!’. I managed all that and much more in just four years. Before that, I lived inside an impenetrable comfort zone, had a sedentary job that was gradually wearing me down, stage II ankylosing spondylitis and around 20 kilos of excess weight. I was in severe pain and could not run five kilometres without stopping, do 30 burpees in a row, perform a pull-up or climb to the third floor without being completely exhausted. Then Spartan Race arrived in the Czech Republic and changed my life. More changed for me after that than in the preceding 27 years. I changed my priorities, attitudes and habits. I left my job and took a training course, earning four coaching licences. I completely changed my approach to movement, exercise, nutrition, managing my illness and life itself, and started doing what I truly enjoy and find fulfilling. The result? Since 2013, I have become a different person physically, mentally and in terms of health. Any obstacle in my personal, professional or sporting life is now another challenge to overcome, and I try to pass that outlook on to my athletes and clients. The words ‘I cannot’ have disappeared from my vocabulary, just as I have stopped doing things I simply do not want to do.”

Marek Rozman

Conditioning · Movement assessment · Corrective exercise · Calisthenics

Marek works at TG as a personal trainer specialising in movement assessment, (pre)rehabilitation and bodyweight conditioning. He uses the following approaches to movement assessment: • 3S assessment • Comprehensive assessment His (pre)rehabilitation work draws on: • FSU 1 • The Smíšek SM method He works with people experiencing problems such as herniated discs, spinal stenosis, SI joint dysfunction and general functional instability of the spine. “Exercise and movement have been a passion of mine for many years. I enjoy bodyweight conditioning and boxing. In recent years, I have focused on movement assessment and spinal (pre)rehabilitation. I put everything into this field because I have found my place in it and it makes great sense to me. My goal is to help people relieve pain and move better and more healthily. I keep improving because I know learning never ends. I learn from the respected Martin Snášel at Coretraining and study Sports Diagnostics and Nutrition at Palestra in Prague. If you need help, I am here for you. Together we can do it.”

Viktorie Kellerová

Conditioning · Strength training · Nutrition

Viki works at TG as a personal trainer specialising in conditioning and as a nutrition adviser. “Movement has been an essential part of my life since childhood. I have been actively involved in several sports, but motocross and weightlifting ultimately won my heart. They gradually sparked my interest in how the body and movement work and how to push my own boundaries further. Dietetics goes hand in hand with this and is another great interest of mine. All of that led me to take a coaching course, immerse myself fully in the subject and gain experience that I would like to pass on to others.”

Martin Cintl

Strength training · Movement assessment · Corrective exercise

Martin works at TG as a personal trainer specialising in strength and muscle-building training. “I began my sporting life at fourteen, training in a makeshift garage gym with a bench, barbell and a few dumbbells. After several months, my father put me in the hands of the experienced and successful bodybuilder Libor Kaše. He became an incredible role model. He taught me proper exercise technique, motivated me and shared valuable experience. My first coaching experience came at secondary school. Having already trained for several years, I would explain exercises and correct technique to classmates whenever we went to the gym. Over time, I became increasingly involved in fitness and healthy living. Learning, helping others and motivating them led me to complete a coaching school and qualify as a fitness instructor. I regularly attend courses and seminars to expand my knowledge and skills. Do not expect a sour face or the same one-sided, repetitive approach when you train with me. I work with every client individually, according to their goals.”

Jan Huleš

Conditioning · Strength training · Corrective exercise

Honza works at TG as a personal trainer specialising in strength and muscle-building training, conditioning and corrective exercise. “Hi, I am Honza: a teacher, a trainer and, above all, someone who is fun to be around. I have been involved in sport since childhood and it has become an essential part of my life. I studied at two sports-focused universities and earned a master's degree, so hopefully I picked up a thing or two during those five years. I have certificates and courses that qualify me to lead training sessions. More important, though, is the effort to keep progressing and learning. Fitness is constantly evolving, so I try to stay up to date and refresh my knowledge to help us reach your goals together. I provide training sessions and meal plans for people who want to improve their physique or address muscle imbalances. I also work with athletes seeking better fitness and people who need qualified supervision because of health conditions such as obesity or diabetes. I teach clients correct technique and adapt exercise to their body type and fitness level.”

Jakub Dvořák

Conditioning · Strength training

Kuba works at TG as a personal trainer specialising in strength and conditioning. I have been involved in sport from a very young age. At six, I started martial arts and team sports, and have continued developing my relationship with movement throughout my life. I currently focus on CrossFit and strength training. I gained my first coaching experience at twenty as a kickboxing coach at DDM Čáslav. That is also where I began educating myself about sport and working with people, and earned my first coaching licence. I later studied military physical education at Charles University's Faculty of Physical Education and Sport in Prague and became actively involved in strength and conditioning. My development did not stop there. I continue studying, attending courses and seminars, and working with other Tvůj Gym trainers to offer clients the most effective support I can. Life should be lived fully, not merely lived through. I try to follow that motto, staying open and welcoming with my clients and striving to be the best version of myself for them, too.

Šimon Mlynář

Conditioning · Strength training · Calisthenics

Šimon works at TG as a personal trainer specialising in calisthenics and conditioning. My sporting journey began in fifth grade, when I first dared to attend floorball practice. My love of the sport lasted much longer than I initially imagined, and I proudly wore the FBC Pitbulls Kolín jersey for nine years. Over time, I became fascinated by calisthenics. Very soon, I knew I wanted to commit to it and become good at it. I felt it could be my next direction, and I truly found myself in it. These days, I focus mainly on weighted calisthenics and learning bodyweight skills such as handstands. My goal is to teach what I do as well as I can. There is no better feeling than watching others progress towards their goals thanks to my advice, whether they have fallen for calisthenics like me or prefer general fitness. It gives me energy and motivation to continue learning and gaining experience. I also offer nutrition advice because I quickly realised that following a meal plan and building good eating habits are integral to fitness if you want the best possible results. What else describes me? I enjoy exercise so much that, if recovery did not exist, I would never leave the gym!

Kryštof Kubelka

Conditioning · Strength training

Kryštof works at TG as a personal trainer specialising in strength and conditioning. Sport has been more than physical activity for me: it has been a passion since childhood. I played various team sports, mainly football. A football injury brought me to the gym, where I discovered something that changed my outlook on sport and fitness: strength training. Over time, that led me to powerlifting, which I have practised at amateur level for two years. My goal is to help all athletes — amateur, professional and beginners — achieve their sporting goals through individually tailored programmes. I emphasise personalised programmes, proper technique and active communication with clients so that we can create the right training plan for each person.

Radka Hofmannová

Conditioning · Movement assessment · Corrective exercise

Ráďa works at TG as a personal trainer specialising in conditioning, movement assessment and corrective exercise. Movement has always fulfilled me. I found support, understanding and, above all, meaning in it. From running 24 kilometres just for fun, through aerobics classes and certification, to taking part in several OCR races, a chain of coincidences and events eventually brought me to Tvůj Gym. Thanks to the great people at the gym, I had the opportunity to try many different approaches to movement. Calisthenics and training focused on a functional, mobile body ultimately won my heart. Nutrition also found a place in my heart, and six months of working with Láďa Žatečka strengthened my passion for healthy eating even further. Because of a challenging autoimmune illness, I began studying my own body. I wanted more from life than a disability pension at twenty. I assembled an imaginary puzzle whose pieces gradually began fitting together, and my health improved along with it. I learned to listen to my body again. Eventually, I wanted to share everything I had learned with others — people who were also struggling or needed it at that moment. Just as I knew movement made sense to me, I knew my path was to be there for others. To be there for you. I am now a certified conditioning, functional and rehabilitation trainer, always up for a bit of fun. The more I understand, the more passionate I become about learning how the human body works. Where better to share that than the place where it all began? :)

Michal Plaček

Conditioning

Michal is a personal trainer focusing on movement through the Ido Portal method. At fourteen, I started fire sport in my village of Plaňany. I only became seriously involved in sport at seventeen, under the guidance of Spartan Training Group Kolín. I owe a great deal to Michal and Martin, who helped ignite my interest in this unconventional discipline. When Michal was starting Tvůj Gym, I met Barča, a phenomenal weightlifting coach. Through her, I learned about Charles University's Faculty of Physical Education and Sport, and that became my next direction. The faculty opened my eyes, especially the outdoor sports department, where I took countless courses covering water sports, cycle touring and winter sports. I developed a love of outdoor activities such as climbing and skiing. But there was still one missing piece of the puzzle. The pandemic arrived, and the university, where most teaching was practical, closed. The school ‘Pohyb je život’ seized the opportunity and began teaching online. I still study movement under Adriena Pecinová and value every session. In recent years, I have worked as a swimming and skiing instructor and led outdoor camps abroad. What does that mean? It is never too late to start moving. It is never too late to start learning.

Michal Buriánek

Conditioning · Corrective exercise

Michal is a personal trainer specialising in conditioning and corrective exercise. Movement is my life. I played tennis from the age of nine and regularly represented my school successfully in athletics and other sports. At fourteen, I started parkour, which captured all my attention. This art of movement is about more than overcoming physical obstacles: it develops the individual in every respect. It led me to learn skills across many disciplines and eventually attend a sports university. I studied for a bachelor's degree in Personal Training and Conditioning, gradually shifting my interest from movement skills to fitness development. This interested me so much that I continued with a master's programme in Conditioning and Applied Kinesiology, which focused extensively on recovery and the health aspects of training. During university, I wanted to put my knowledge into practice. That led me to compete in several sports, including MTB Trilogy in the extreme enduro category, described as the Czech Republic's most extreme mountain bike race, the Czech Adventure Race championship — an extreme three-day multidisciplinary event — and Art Moving Challenge, at the time the country's largest parkour competition. Preparing for events like these takes a significant amount of conditioning and much more. I now want to pass my knowledge and skills on to others so their path towards their goals is easier and more effective. I can help you improve strength, speed, endurance, coordination or flexibility, whether for sport, recreation or health.

Eliška Drábková

Sport has been part of my life since childhood: nine years of athletics, with achievements including third place in the Czech youth hammer throw championship, team titles at Czech youth and junior championships and competing in the women's first league; seven years of volleyball; and a lifetime of movement. I graduated from Charles University's Faculty of Physical Education and Sport in conditioning and continue developing my knowledge through a master's degree at the Faculty of Sports Studies in Brno. Aneta Jarošová

Conditioning · Corrective exercise

Aneta is a personal trainer specialising in conditioning, corrective exercise and hand balancing. I have been involved in competitive sport as an amateur for more than twelve years. I have trained and raced in running and obstacle events such as Spartan Race and Gladiator, spent years rock climbing, and discovered weightlifting through CrossFit, which I still practise. I also do hand balancing — handstands in many forms. I show people that handstands are for everyone: you can start at any age without previous experience, and they are a great way to strengthen the whole body and switch off. I teach people not to fear being upside down or taking the first step. With clients, I combine strength elements according to their current fitness, preferences and needs. My goal is for training to be beneficial and enjoyable. I offer perspective gained through experience and a supportive approach. Everyone can improve, wherever their starting line may be.

Diana Ryšánová

Running · Conditioning · Strength training

Diana is a personal trainer specialising in athletics preparation, conditioning and strength training. Hi, I am Diana Ryšanová, and I have been actively involved in athletics, strength and conditioning for more than six years. Sport has been part of my life since childhood and gradually became both my passion and my direction in life. As an active athlete, I train under Jarmila Kratochvílová, giving me experience of competitive and elite sporting environments. My work focuses on developing fitness, strength, speed, performance and good movement habits. I build sessions around individual needs, sound technique and sustainable long-term progress. It is about more than simply completing a workout: movement should have a real benefit for performance, health or confidence. My main specialisations are: • Conditioning • Athletics and movement preparation • Strength and performance development • Body composition • Mobility and healthy movement • Training for teenagers and beginners My goal is to create an environment where people feel comfortable, without unnecessary stress or prejudice. I want to show that movement need not be a punishment, but can significantly improve life, physically and mentally.

Adam Neckář

Conditioning · Strength training · Movement assessment · Corrective exercise · Nutrition

Adam is a personal trainer specialising in movement assessment, corrective exercise, conditioning and strength training. I focus on conditioning, strength training, corrective exercise, movement assessment and nutrition. My work combines an individual approach, proper technique and sustainable long-term results. I have been involved in sport and movement for many years. In my practice, I have helped clients improve fitness and lose weight, as well as address movement limitations and pain and return to an active lifestyle. I regularly study strength and conditioning, functional assessment and working with clients at different performance levels. I believe training should make sense, be safe and fit the client's specific needs, whether the goal is better fitness, a change in physique, greater strength or improved overall health. I understand that getting started can be the biggest obstacle for many people. That is why I work to create an environment where clients feel comfortable, gain confidence in movement and have support throughout their progress.
